- We took the first step to power distribution as Aydem Güneybatı Anadolu Enerji San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (Aydem Güneybatı). As per Law No. 3096, Aydem Güneybatı was appointed with the Cabinet Decision dated 09.10.1991 and numbered 91/2325 to offer power distribution services in a region covering the provinces of Aydın, Denizli and Muğla, where the ownership belonged to TEDAŞ (Turkish Electricity Distribution Corporation).
- After legal proceedings, a Practice Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (ETKB) and Aydem Güneybatı on 22.9.2000, which covered the procedures and principles of said appointment.
- On 29.3.2001, TEDAŞ (Turkish Electricity Distribution Corporation) and Aydem Güneybatı signed a Contract for Transfer of Operating Rights that contained the procedures and principles for the transfer of the operating rights of the facilities in the region, but the transfer was completed in 2008.
- The company name Aydem Güneybatı was changed to Aydem Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (Aydem EDAŞ) on 26.06.2008.
- From the Energy Market Regulatory Authority, Aydem EDAŞ got a “Distribution License” with the Authority Decision dated 17.07.2008 and numbered 1678-1, as well as a “Retail Sales License” with the same date and number 1678-2, in order to offer power distribution and retail sales services.
- On 16.08.2008, Aydem EDAŞ took over the right to operate the power distribution facilities in the service region covering Aydın, Denizli and Muğla for 30 years, as per Law No. 3096.
- Aydem EDAŞ separated distribution and retail sales in 2013.
- On 03.06.2015, the tradename Aydem EDAŞ changed to ADM Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş.
