Conscious Generation, Efficient Energy - 25,000 Energy Hunters in 5 Years

ADM and GDZ Elektrik Dağıtım reached 25,000 children with the project called “Energy Hunters”, and they will again educate thousands of children on energy efficiency and saving in 2020 to keep raising awareness.

The companies started this journey with the aim of raising awareness on energy efficiency and saving. Initiated in 2016, Energy Hunters reached 25,000 students in more than 250 schools located in 96 districts in 5 cities.

The project is continuing with the training sessions at a very high speed in the 5th year as well, where kids aged 4 to 8, the target group, are taught the importance of energy and how to use it efficiently. School administrators and teachers also appreciate the project, where kids have fun while being educated. In the end, each of these children becomes an Energy Hunter, using their knowledge to guide others in their home, school in every area where energy is actively used, as well as their parents, leading the way to spread this social responsibility project in the society.

Energy efficiency not just today but everyday

Children keep showing interest in the project, which is going on with interactive events during the Energy Efficiency week. Schools identified under the project are visited to teach children how to use energy efficiently. These events that will continue throughout the year will have another 10,000 kids say “We know the worth of energy. Because we are Energy Hunters” in 2020.

This project started in 2016 and improved each year, and this year it has been enriched with activities that will provide scientific support to kids. The Energy Hunters project educate children on incorrect consumption habits while also informing them through energy experimental sets. The project continues with the motto “Energy efficiency not just today but every day”.
