“Human Resources of the Year Award” for ADM and GDZ Elektrik Dağıtım

At SAP NOW Istanbul, “Human Resources of the Year Award” was given to ADM and GDZ Elektrik Dağıtım for their management system, where all processes related to human resources were redesigned and digitalized.

SAP NOW Istanbul, one of the most important technology events in Turkey, was held for the 23rd time on 25 October 2018, Thursday, at Istanbul Congress Center. Turkey’s leading companies and around 5,000 professionals from the business world got together with the theme “It’s Right About Time!” thanks to SAP Turkey. Over 80 sessions were held in 13 different halls at the event, where technologies that will radically change daily life and the business world were discussed.

At the SAP Project Awards of the Year, the assessments included organizations that use software and business applications to simplify and efficiently manage their processes, and reached excellency in practice. The criteria assessed difference-making technology practices, benefits obtained, cost, speed and added value, among others.

ADM Elektrik Dağıtım and GDZ Elektrik Dağıtım won “Human Resources of the Year” Award at the SAP Projects Awards Ceremony, one of the most prestigious awards in business and technology worlds. Both companies achieved this as they had redesigned and digitalized all business processes related to human resources.

Uğur Yüksel, Chair of the Executive Board at ADM and GDZ Elektrik Dağıtım, highlighted that they utilized SAP SuccessFactors to engage in this exhaustive project in addition to the components covered by the main topics of human resources and business intelligence. He mentioned that they digitalized the processes and workflows of the “Performance Management System” via SAP SuccessFactors, which they chose because it was a solution that brought together all the processes at the company and allowed them to run together.

Yüksel stated that companies using SAP SuccessFactors get a chance to compare themselves with global standards in their respective sectors, and that this solution will ensure that all employees adopt company objectives and thus the desired results will be achieved.
